Sheri Hardcastle is a child, youth and family counsellor with a private practice in Guelph. She completed a Masters of Social Work Degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Social Sciences Major) at York University, and studies in Child Play Therapy at The University of Western Ontario.
A passion for learning has led Sheri to studies in a variety of complimentary practices, including such techniques as Child Meditation/Creative Visualization Facilitation; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT); Holistic Nutrition; and Therapeutic Touch. Sheri's collaborative approach to working with others evolves from a heartfelt passion toward the facilitation of personal insight enhancing the balance between body, mind, and heart. She works from a strong foundation of professional ethics and honour for an individual's self-determination and capacity for creating and maintaining good health and balance on all levels of personal well being. Sheri's primary practice involves counselling and education facilitating insight and growth into healing personal and familial issues.
